Responsibility

- Lead a sourcing team in China
- Identify and evaluate potential vendor sources
- Develop suppliers, drive RFQ process, negotiate with vendors, and coordinate vendor qualification & selection processes.
- Identify potential opportunities of cost savings and material price reduction
- Explore solutions and execute complex supply issues
- Optimize whole sourcing process including vendor performance management, quality improvement, lead-time reduction, and flexibility in material supply.
- Implement Six sigma philosophies
- Lead special projects in the area of procurement

Requirements

- University degree in engineering or preferred electronic engineering
- Chinese/ Mandarin (native speaker) English (business fluent)
- Many years of experience in technical and commercial operations
- Preferred: Familiar with local Chinese vendor market (machined components, electronic parts, assemblies)
- Preferred: Experience in working in a multicultural environment
- Preferred: Familiar with global acting companies like ge
- Analytical approach, Highly reliable
- Continuously open to learn Capable to manage conflicts
- Capable to adapt to multicultural environment with teamwork oriented
- Flexible and mobile
