Responsibility

- Lead supplier negotiations and supplier development activities in field services
- Develop sourcing strategies for assigned commodities/products/services
- Ensure issues related to supplier fulfillment are managed proactively.
- Drive Sourcing Initiatives: Savings, On-time delivery, Quality and Supplier Performances Scorecards.
- Plan and coordinate business sourcing activities in close coordination with Team Leader , COE Leader and Site Sourcing Leader
- Lead Request for Quotes (RFQ) and Supplier Selection Process.
- Identify, visit and develop new suppliers.
- Initiate negotiation plans and conducting negotiations.
- Issuing Purchase Orders.
- Initiate Supplier Qualification Approval
- Facilitate of technical supplier commodity reviews.
- Collaborate with all the internal functions to deliver on main responsibilities

Requirements

- Technical/ engineering degree or equivalent
- Excellent communication and negotiating skills.
- Fluent English and Italian (both spoken and written)
- Ability to interface effectively cross-functionally.
- Goal oriented team player with ability to integrate and work quickly and successfully into a matrix organization
- Availability to travel in foreign countries
- EHS: Is accountable for EHS performance, with respect with compliance with programs and procedures, and fulfillment of personal Goals & Objectives"

Desired

- Six Sigma Green Belt Certified
- Knowledge of ge's Oil&Gas business organization
- Other Languages knowledge
