Position Purpose
- Be responsible for the development, implementation, maintenance and continual improvement of Q/HSSE performance in xxx, i.e. including xxx own entities, affiliates and JVs.
- Establish and supervise Q/HSSE teams to carry out routine Q/HSSE activities according to relevant government regulations and company policies in various operational sites under management by xxx.
- Ensure the Integrated Management System and relevant policies in the xxx are maintained and promoted in accordance with ISO9001, ISO 14001, OHSAS 18001 and statutory requirements.
- Carry out and complete assigned individual projects related to Q/HSSE in the Company

Responsibility

- Ensure that a high safety standard is maintained on site in accordance with the xxx Q/HSSE Policy, APMM / CB GCA Safety Policy, and statutory requirements.
- Implement best practices and procedures relevant to Q/HSSE management within the xxx.
- Be Q/HSSE representative for the xxx and supervise the Q/HSSE team.
- Be security representative for the xxx.
- Plan, supervise and conduct Q/HSSE related internal audits and prepare subsequent reports to management.
- Advise the management and the measures to be taken in the interest of security, safety, health and environmental protection and the Integrated Management System as a whole.
- Advise the management on legal and contractual requirements affecting the Q/HSSE respects of xxx.
- Advise the management on potential hazards on new work before commencement.
- Advise the management updated information on legal requirements and codes of practice.
- Liaise with Government Officials and professional bodies regarding safety issues.
- Carry out various projects and reports accordingly as requested by the General Manager.
- Attend courses as laid out by training programme and do this with a positive mind for learning.

Requirements

- Hold Bachelor Degree or above in Engineering, Quality Management, Environment Management or Occupational Health & Safety Management.
- Be a Registered Safety Officer and preferably Registered Safety Auditor from local authority.
- Acquire at least 5 years of Quality, Environment and/or Occupational Health and Safety Management experience in container, logistics, engineering, marine, workshop industries.
- Have good understanding in legal requirements pertaining to Quality, Environment and/or Occupational Health and Safety in PRC.
- Have sound knowledge and hand-on experience in developing, implementing, maintaining and improving ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and OHSAS 18001 management systems.
- Have good command in both written and spoken English and Chinese.
