Responsibility

To further strengthen our Marketing Team, Novartis Oncology China in Beijing
is seeking an ambitious Brand Manager.

Reporting to the Group Brand Manager, you will be responsible for developing
appropriate strategies and marketing plan to further build the brand in the China market.

Your responsibilities will include

- Play a key role in the preparation of the annual brand plan - from the analysis
of the data, the drawing of action-oriented conclusions to the definition of the strategy.
- Implement, on a timely basis, approved brand strategies and marketing plan,
across the regions in China.
- Day-to-day interaction with other departments (Medical, Sales, etc.) to align
and implement the brand strategy and marketing plans.
- Liaise effectively with internal and external stakeholders
(agencies, key opinion leaders, Global Brand team etc.).
- Closely monitor market and competition performance, analyse variations from plan,
recommend and implement remedial action.
- Undertake the appropriate market research to enhance the business performance
and develop appropriate innovation to support marketing strategies.
- Track and control marketing budget.

Requirement

- A strong drive and passion for excellence, with a background in Medical Education
- 2-5 years experience as a Brand/Product Manager with a record of achievements
gained in leading pharmaceutical companies, preferably in Oncology field.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, coupled with good
relationship building, negotiation and listening skills. Fluency in Mandarin and English is a must.
- Creativity and the capability of dealing with complex tasks and strong analytical
skills while not losing focus of the key business drivers.
- Self-starter with entrepreneurial drive with a good business understanding
including key performance and success indicators, and customer focus
- A team player, yet possessing leadership qualities to lead projects
and programs across various functions
- Computer literacy
