Responsibilities

- Direct a virtual cross-functional engineering development team.
- Drive clarity by defining and prioritizing the program objectives, critical success factors and deliverables for the team.
- Motivate the team and drive a sense of urgency on meeting program commitments.
- Mediate cross-functional disagreements, drives product planning and multi-generation product/platform roadmap execution.
- As part of the Leadership Team, working with the Business Team and program leadership team to deliver quality products on time, within budget and with competitive features.

Requirements

- 8+ years progressive experience as an engineer or scientist within the appropriate field of study to include 5+ years experience in project leadership within a manufacturing, development or research environment.
- Demonstrated competency in providing leadership and direction in regards to cross-functional.
- Excellent knowledge of patient/customer and segment related clinical applications and workflow as well as scientific/engineering methods/theory with an affinity for technology and clinical solutions within a functional domain.
- Demonstrated experience on global product releases throughout the entire NPI cycle, managing Field Maintenance Instructions (FMIs) and Installed Base releases. Experience understanding and driving Variable-Cost Productivity (VCP) and Inventory Carrying Value (ICV) reduction to enable optimized product margins.
- Demonstrated leadership applying 6 Sigma competencies improving product performance/quality, processes or patient/customer/engineering productivity. Familiarity with establishing CTQs and patient/customer-centric quality into the products while capturing/leveraging domain/technical knowledge.
- Excellent success at meeting project goals while satisfying quality, performance, schedule, and budget CTQs. Demonstrated experience in tracking Milestone Deliverables, Integration Step Deliverables.
- Competency driving daily meetings, weekly core team meetings, and execution control meetings. Ability to assign issues and develop/drive recovery plans to closure. Excellence in delegating tasks and following through to closure.
- Skilled at developing and driving program risk mitigation plans, solutions and closure. Demonstrated ability to develop these solutions by gathering the necessary fidelity of information/solutions and ideas.
- Excellent written and verbal English skills.

- Experience with design of patient monitor
- Familiarity with quality systems compliance including FDA, ISO, and other medical regulatory processes
