Requirements
Goals/Mission:
- Take lead on all structural related engineering work
- Full responsibility for product development of E- House for offshore projects
Working Partners / Contacts:
- Coordination with I&S OGM OG sales support team regarding structural work
- Internal: GM / Sales Director, Project Manager
- External: Design Insititutes Structural Construction Company
Tasks:
- Responsibilities: include design and proposal drafting, checking and field verification of foundations, steel structures and related tasks for offshore facilities
- Take the direct responsibility for review and approval of engineering analyses and detailed design of container, topside on jackets, and appurtenances
- Coordinate review of procurement of structural steel, in- country contractor fabrication and installation efforts, coordinate and obtain support from headquarters
- Assist in the development of project execution documents such as Design Basis Memorandum, Project Specifications, etc
- Monitor the Detailed Design Contractor and Structural Construction Vendor on cost estimating, budgeting, progress and schedule, and report to the Project Manager
Education:
- Bachelor
- Major in Structural/Civil Engineering
- Job Language:EN
Knowledge/Languages:
- Structural steel corrosion control, materials selection and the preparation and monitoring of Weight Control Report.
- Structural design standards: DNV, API, AISC, AWS and ANSI/ASME codes, standards and recommended practices.
- Structural design software such as SACS, ABAQUS, ANSYS or equivalent
- Industrial architectural design
- Construction & Fabriccation management
- Plant design & piping engineering
Experience:
- 8+ year's structural engineering experience in offshore installations and plant equipment
- Experience on electrical container design is desired
- 4 year's experience on offshore topside design project
- Familiar with the third party approval requirement and process
- Capability on developing E- House product and related service
- Experienced in working together with foreign colleagues or customers
