PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES
- Ensure that all offers and proposals are made in strict accordance with ALSTOM procedures
- Review bid documents and customer RFQ's for risks to ALSTOM and advise appropriate Proposal Team members.
- Assist the Sales Managers in tender preparation towards the customer and risk log preparation for internal approval.
- Ensure tax compliance and optimisation
- Participate in Risk review meetings, highlighting potential risk issues and risk mitigation plans.
- Conduct Risk Review for tender or contracts below 250 Keur
- Verify that proposal, cost estimate, schedule and customer RFQ are consistent with each other.
- Recommend improvements to risk review process and trainTeam Member on appropriate use and completion of Risk Log. - Support the commercial follow up on contracts in progress to ensure project gross margin and cash flow is maximised
- In particular advise and manage the process for customs, logistics, import, tax and duty issues to optimum position.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, EXPERIENCE, & COMPETENCIES
- Knowledge of contracting, negotiating and project management
- 5 years commercial experience within manufacturing/service industry
- Proven relevant influencing skills
- Work requires willingness to work a flexible schedule.
- Frequent travel
- Full- time.
- Based in Beijing, China
- Requires regular travel mainly within and occasionally outside China
