- Develop and maintain robust category strategy by subcategory by region
- Lead Development of the Regional Supply Base to meet Busniess Unit & Corporate needs & requirements
- Actively Participate in Global Enterprise Category Team meetings and work
- Be the Regional Category Expert – Center of Expertise
Requirement
- More than 5 years of Sourcing or Supplier Development Experience with at least 3 solid years working on different type of castings including machined castings in automotive applications.
- Extensive knowledge of Asia Pacific supplier base will be an advantage.
- Skills to analyze supplier financial information and determine manufacturing capability from go to the spot assessment
- Ability to manage supplier relationships with absolutes of ethics and integrity, and experience working “up front” with suppliers to attain ideal value stream performance
- Strong analytical, interpersonal, presentation, coaching & mentoring skills
- Excellent computer skills such as MS Excel, Pivot Tables, Macros and MS Words
- Willing to travel 50% of the time (inside and outside China)
- Language :Proficient in English, additional Asian language speaking capability will be a good asset.
- At least a Bachelor Degree in Engineering
