Responsibilities
- Analyze and estimate total logistics and value stream costs on domestic material. Review supplier packaging, logistics and information flow.
- Develop flow maps of material to develop cost savings initiatives and improvements to the supply chain. Develop modeling tools.
- Logistics network design, mapping and optimizing the material flow.
- Provide cost models and transport estimates to purchasing, sales and divisions business development activities
- Measure service provider capabilities and drive improvement
- Develop and training service providers and plants on standard operating procedures
- Other special projects as required.
Requirements
- Bachelor Degree or equivalent experience
- Strong English (oral and written).
- Strong Planning/organization/analysis/mentoring skill
- At least 5 year experiences in Logistic
- Strong analytics and problem solving capability. Strong interpersonal and motivation skills
- Experience in a large or international manufacturing firm
- Strong computer application skill (Microsoft Office)
- Experience in MRP, ERP system
- Supervisory and management experience preferred
- Self- directed and motivated
Preferred
- Experience with ERP systems, EDI, purchasing, sales, and production operation
